Automation Trades Helper
About The Position
The Installation Trades Helper assists one or more Installation Technicians by performing specific or general duties to assist large-scale installation efforts. As directed by senior personnel onsite, the Trades Helper will assist in ensuring proper fit and function of fuels accounting, alarm monitoring and controls, and leak detection equipment, aiding in their efforts to install and troubleshoot electronic systems and detail the work performed. This position requires local residence in the Bremerton/Manchester, Washington area and in the future may require deploying to other sites.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Experience working as part of a construction or installation team
- Ability to receive and follow instruction
- Familiarity with general hand tools
- Willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Electronics training such as military A/C school, apprenticeship or technical school
- Experience with electrical installation, to include conduit installation and pulling wires and cables
- Working with concrete such as forming, pouring and finishing
- Rigid and EMT conduit installation experience
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklift
- Understanding of expense reporting practices
