About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA and dynamic Manual QA Tester with expertise in API testing, specifically within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through comprehensive manual and API testing. This role demands a deep understanding of banking credit card processes, and a proven track record in quality assurance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using QA tools and methodologies such as X-ray, JIRA, browser-stack, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries and basic scripting to query databases and validate test results and perform backend testing
• Knowledge of version control systems like GitLab, or similar.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate with team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and user expectations.
• Able to provide release demo to business stakeholders
• Perform and oversee various types of testing including functional, mobile testing, compatibility, and ADA testing, UX testing (optional), regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for credit card applications.
• Conduct API testing to validate data flows and interactions between different services and components of front and back end and Usage of Automation Selenium.
• Execute and review test cases, report bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA
• Document test results and create detailed documentation summarizing test findings, coverage, and the overall quality of the software.
• Communicate effectively with the development team to clarify issues and ensure a mutual understanding of problem areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the QA process by recommending tools, techniques, and processes.
