About The Position

As an Automation Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our highly automated distribution operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. From troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems to working with PLC-controlled equipment, you’ll be at the center of maintaining and improving the technology that powers our business. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with advanced systems, and making a real impact on day-to-day operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalency degree
Valid driver’s license
Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to perform duties safely
Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Experience in industrial maintenance or a similar technical field

Nice To Haves

Associate degree, electrician’s certificate or military equivalent
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
PLC (Allen-Bradley) troubleshooting experience
Prior experience working with automated systems
Safety training and/or certification

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated equipment and systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime and quickly restore performance
Work with a variety of equipment including conveyors, pallet handling systems, and other automated material handling technology
Support equipment installations, adjustments, and system improvements in partnership with operations and maintenance teams
Track and document maintenance work and equipment history using internal systems
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
Identify opportunities for improvement and help implement solutions that increase efficiency and reliability
