About The Position

For more than 160 years, IMS Gear has grown through a customer-first mindset, inventive problem solving, and an open, low-hierarchy culture. Headquartered in Donaueschingen, Germany, we employ approximately 3,600 people across Europe, North America, and Asia. Your morning starts on the production floor. You’re the hands-on expert who keeps four automated assembly lines humming while supporting additional injection molding and metal-processing automation. Roughly 80% of your day is sleeves-rolled-up troubleshooting — tracing faults, eliminating root causes, and stabilizing processes. The remaining 20% becomes project work born from what you discovered: new concepts, upgrades, and optimizations that lift safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
