About The Position

MasterMold LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Automation & Robotics Engineer to join our Paint Department on second shift. In this role, you’ll support and enhance our automated paint systems, ensuring consistent coating quality, reliability, and production efficiency. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with paint automation, robotics programming, and process optimization in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. You will maintain and improve robotic paint systems, develop and refine automation procedures, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation. Daily responsibilities include programming and debugging FANUC and ABB robots, analyzing data for process improvements, and partnering with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to optimize performance and finish quality. Experience with spray application techniques, paint viscosity, atomization, and curing processes is highly valuable. Qualified candidates should have proven experience in automation or robotics engineering, preferably within paint or coating applications. Proficiency with FANUC and/or ABB robotics, SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and a strong understanding of PLC systems are preferred. Requirements

  • Proven experience in automation or robotics engineering, preferably within paint or coating applications
  • Proficiency with FANUC and/or ABB robotics
  • SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of PLC systems
