The Automation Operator I moves product using power industrial equipment or by hand on semi-automated conveyors within the automated system, correct any conveyor system errors, and to manually build new orders or tear down orders returned to the plant, then put them away using power industrial equipment. What your day will look like: Operation of powered industrial equipment while following UNITED safety policy Complete daily powered equipment inspection form Correctly rotate product/materials Identify product by description and quantity then removing product from area and carrying to the staging area, on truck or replenishment lanes. Placement of product on conveyor system in semi-automated pick lanes as product releases are relieved from system Resolution of alarms in pick area by reviewing monitors when alarms are triggered by release issues Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code Coordinate replenishment with forklift drivers Replenishment of pick module zones Manually build new orders and sort/replenish returns in pick modules Stacking loads properly General housekeeping All other duties, as assigned
