Requirements

Electrical Engineering Degree or 2 years industrial experience in automation and controls
High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

B.S. in Electrical Engineering
Previous Steel/Manufacturing Experience in an industrial setting or related coursework

Responsibilities

Work safely

Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Programming
Human Machine Interface (HMI) Programming
Electrical control circuit troubleshooting
Electrical control circuit design
Control panel design and installation
Database/server programming
AC & DC Drive configuration
AC & DC Motor Theory application
Project management
Instrumentation configuration and calibrations
Ethernet network setup and troubleshooting
Power distribution system design/theory
Thorough understanding of production process
Work closely with electricians & millwrights to solve issues, troubleshoot, & project implementation
Work with teammates to solve issues & develop process improvements
