What you will do Champion required company and regulatory programs—make compliance part of the culture. Execute scheduled maintenance and reliability tasks through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Lead the charge on proactive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. Deliver top-tier customer service to your teammates and collaborate across departments. Perform all other duties as assigned to support the operation. Electrical and controls focus Interpret schematics, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides. Read and apply ladder logic. Use electrical troubleshooting devices safely and effectively. General electronic troubleshooting skills. Mechanical systems you’ll support Mechanical drive systems and conveyance systems. PD and centrifugal pumps. High-speed rotating equipment. Pneumatic conveying systems. Mechanical system troubleshooting, welding, pneumatics, and lubrication. Preventive maintenance task execution with CMMS usage. Packaging, process, and utilities in our plant Dough mixing, feeding, and extrusion. Baking ovens. Horizontal wrapping machines. Robotic packaging systems and robotic palletizing. Inkjet printers, case printers, and print-and-apply pallet labelers. Vision systems and barcode scanners. Metal detecting systems. Boilers, air compressors, and ammonia compressors. Tools beyond the toolbox Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills. MS Office (Word, Excel) and MS Outlook for scheduling and communication. What you’ll need to succeed Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain a fully automated production facility. Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Electronics and Maintenance technical degree preferred. Experience with high-speed packaging machinery preferred; food manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies preferred. Strict adherence to safety and Lockout/Tagout programs. Strong team-based problem-solving; works extremely well with people from varied departments. Comfort using hand and power tools. Weekend work or overtime may be required as determined by management. Core proficiencies PLC troubleshooting skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment. A quick scenario The line pauses with a servo fault. You trace the issue through the HMI (PanelView), validate signals over Remote I/O, check the VFD, confirm ladder logic states, replace a failed sensor, and document the repair in the CMMS—then brief operators on the fix and preventive measures. That’s a win for safety, quality, and uptime.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in industrial maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain a fully automated production facility.
  • Strict adherence to safety and Lockout/Tagout programs.
  • Strong team-based problem-solving; works extremely well with people from varied departments.
  • Comfort using hand and power tools.
  • PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Electronics and Maintenance technical degree preferred.

  • Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, Remote I/O, and VFD experience.
  • Industrial networking exposure.
  • HMIs including AB PanelView and Wonderware.
