About The Position

We are looking for a motivated, intellectually curious Automation and Controls Specialist to join our team at our Green Bay facility. As part of our broader US engineering team, you’ll act as a key programmer supporting CAPEX projects, process improvements, and operational support when your expertise is called upon. Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in industrial electronics, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Deep interest in automation, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation and process control
  • Hands-on experience with automation, process control and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell automation equipment (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View).
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting variable frequency drives; familiarity with ABB and Rockwell drives is a plus.
  • Experience with industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, IO-Link, HART).
  • Experience with P&IDs, electrical schematics, and AutoCAD/EPLAN is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in standard office tools and ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and other languages is a plus (not required).
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and a commitment to safety and standards

Responsibilities

  • Support electrical maintenance and plant operations during troubleshooting and production issues.
  • Analyze production stoppages and collaborate with process engineers to propose improvements.
  • Participate in modernization efforts for automation equipment.
  • Develop troubleshooting guides and train electricians and technicians.
  • Optimize PLC and HMI programs at the facility and perform regular backups.
  • Contribute as a programmer on capital projects and assist in commissioning
  • Collaborate with process teams to optimize plant processes
  • Document projects with schematics and functional descriptions; train operational stakeholders
  • Configure historians for data archiving, create monitoring pages, and maintain systems with IT/network specialists.
