About The Position

The part-time Automation and Robotics Technology lab assistant is responsible for assisting the Department chair and full-time faculty in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance, robotics, and PLC labs. Performs other duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices. Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome. Responsibilities

• Keep the lab environment clean and organized.
• Prepare materials and tools for class work and labs.
• Perform maintenance of equipment, trainers, and tools as necessary.
• Provide assistance for students in lab.
• Maintain confidentiality and conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
• Performs other duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices.
