About The Position

Join us as Automation & Access Engineer and help implement, automate, secure and improve our access management solution for Nuage - Sika’s global custom-built R&D data platform! In this role you will be part of a fast-growing Global R&D Digitalization team, transforming how our global R&D function develops and working on wide range of topics - from using traditional data science techniques to optimising operational efficiency along with state-of-the-art AI solutions to identify novel construction materials. This role is designed for remote working with occassional trips to Welwyn Garden City.

Requirements

• Higher education or proven track record of relevant working experience
• Strong programming ability towards data analysis and cleanup on messy sources
• Excellence in task automation, especially using Microsoft solutions such as Azure and Power Automate
• Good understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, including JSON parsing etc
• Conceptualisation and building of processes for new security and project workflows
• Project leadership and accountability

Responsibilities

• Manage, test and streamline user access groups
• Manage, respond to and resolve access tickets
• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the access setup, ensuring that access groups are seamlessly replicated on all required systems
• Automate and streamline communications between and within cloud and on-premises systems
• Assist the global team in configuring Sika’s innovation platform
