Position Overview: You will be responsible for loading, operating, and monitoring automated welding equipment.

Requirements

• 1 year of machine operation experience

Nice To Haves

• Some welding experience a plus
• 1 year of job shop experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Read fabrication blueprints
• Operate automated welding machine – load correct materials into equipment, set up proper programs into controller, maintain correct parameters for high-quality welds
• Accurately read production instructions and measuring instruments
• Load the correct materials into the equipment
• Set proper and predetermined programs into the controller
• Maintain correct parameters for high-quality welds
• Demonstrate safe welding and shop practices
• Other tasks as defined
