About The Position

Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Work The selected Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Test Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance (with the ability to acquire and maintain a TS level clearance)
  • 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline; Not to exceed 5 years of experience
  • Experience as a software tester; including working test plans, procedures, or test execution
  • Knowledge of requirements development and collaboration
  • Experience with Object-Oriented development languages such as C++, Python, Ada, JAVA, Mongo, HTML
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, or others
  • Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time

Nice To Haves

  • Current/Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Understanding of containerized virtual environments
  • Familiarity with Linux, Bash, SQL, Matlab
  • Eggplant test automation tool experience
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and analyzing large data log files
  • Experience with Agile and automated test tools
