Automated Software Test Engineer - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)
About The Position
Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Work The selected Test Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the GWS-GSS IPT. You be responsible for scheduling the tests for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust for evolving conditions. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university.
- Experience with C++ development
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- A current, active in-scope U.S. DoD Secret clearance
- Current GMD/GWS-GSS Test Automation Experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Gitlab or Bitbucket
- Experience using Eggplant
- Security +
- A current, active in-scope U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance
