Automated Software Test Engineer - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)
About The Position
Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. The Work The selected engineer will support a fast-pace, forward looking Software Development environment on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) product team's Automated Test and Verification team, with tasking directed at Continuous Integration and Continuous Deliver (CI/CD). Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree from an accredited university with minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proficient with Python
- Experience with understanding and verifying requirements
- Must be able to support in office development
- Active U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
Nice To Haves
- Experience in software development related to Test Automation
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
