This position will build confidence, experience and skills by performing repairs and/or maintenance assigned by a service advisor or manager, under the direct supervision of an assigned Mentor. Candidate will be responsible for following instructions of their Mentor, while completing technical service and/or repair to assigned vehicles, ensuring the highest quality of service or repair. The position will have the use of shop supplied, mentor or own tools necessary in order to perform technical service or repair as assigned. In addition candidate will trained on the usage of shop supplied diagnostic and service equipment. Apprentice goal is to achieve Repair Technician I status or progressing to Repair Technician II and/or III at AAA. Candidates are expected to test and achieve Repair Technician I status within Twelve (12) months of start date. Candidate(s) that demonstrate sufficient progress and potential may be eligible to continue on in the program to qualify for Repair Technician II or higher.
