Auto Parts Sales Associate
About The Position
NPW is seeking an organized and experienced Counter Sales Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position will be initiative-taking and can provide exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely & accurate information regarding order status, and responding to customer concerns. This role will support NPW's sales effort by expanding current customer relationships and identifying new customers. NPW is a leading independent automotive aftermarket parts distributor, founded in 1969, with over 500 employees and 50 company-owned locations in 14 states that include both stores and warehouses. The company has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of inside sales or customer service experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must have excellent phone etiquette.
- Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via the web, email, and/or telephone.
- Ensure all customer orders are being processed within designated Service Level Agreements.
- Establish new accounts through client referrals or outbound calls to potential customers.
- Provide quotes & order information to customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the product.
- Provide technical advice, troubleshoots, & finds solutions to the customer's problem.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
