A qualified candidate is responsible for daily duties in the parts department that will help drive the entire dealership's overall performance. This role includes inventory control, sourcing parts for a variety of customers, communicating order status throughout departments and shipping and receiving orders. Requirements

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Have strong communication, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, mark ups, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Stand
• Walk
• Sit
• Occasionally climb or balance
• Access low areas
• Occasionally lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
• Interested candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming parts
• Create parts orders
• Write parts estimates price and availability
• Assist customers in person, by email or phone
• Keep parts area clean, organized and stocked
• Source parts using multiple software programs and vendors
• Assist technicians to source correct parts
