About The Position
Parts Counter Associate – Volvo Cars of Sarasota Join the Parts Team at Sunset Automotive Group Volvo Cars of Sarasota, part of the Sunset Automotive Group family, is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to support our professional automotive parts department. If you have automotive parts knowledge , strong organization skills, and a self‑starter mindset, we'd love to hear from you. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred , but motivated candidates with solid auto parts knowledge are encouraged to apply. Typical schedule will be Tuesday–Saturday , with some flexibility. Position Overview As a Parts Counter Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional support to customers, service technicians, and other internal departments. Your responsibilities will include: Customer Service & Support Assist walk‑in customers, internal technicians, and phone/internet inquiries with parts and accessory needs Provide friendly, knowledgeable service with accuracy and customer service Accuracy & Organization Ask the right questions to ensure the correct parts are identified Recommend related or companion parts when appropriate Maintain organized work habits and attention to detail Research & Parts Management Check parts availability, vendor timelines, and pricing Prepare accurate price quotes Pull correct parts from stock or deliveries and ensure timely distribution Learning & Collaboration Stay current on vehicle and parts product knowledge Participate in company-provided, paid factory training Work positively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and technicians Requirements Automotive parts knowledge required ; prior auto parts experience preferred Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple demands Strong communication skills; bilingual is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license and verifiable work history Benefits Sunset Automotive Group offers a strong compensation structure and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Life & Disability Coverage Paid Holidays Paid Time Off after 6 months Company-paid factory training Employee discounts at all Sunset locations And more!
