About The Position

Job Description Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise. We’re hiring an experienced Auto Field Adjuster in the Greater Salt Lake City, UT area (including Ogden). The ideal candidate lives within 40 miles, has hands-on experience writing auto damage estimates and supplements, and strong insurance claims knowledge. We’re looking for someone self-motivated, customer-focused, and skilled in time management, accountability, and achieving goals. Writing auto damage estimates using CCC ONE or Mitchell is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
- Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
- Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
- Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
- Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
