About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Auto Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a keen eye for detail. As an Auto Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that each vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and detailed to the highest standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Requirements

  • This is an evening shift 3pm to 11pm M-F
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be 18 years or older.
  • Previous experience in auto detailing or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and occasionally more.
  • Required to regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb up on and out of large vehicles.
  • Being in good physical shape to have the stamina required to perform the required duties
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Work is performed in varying extreme outdoor weather conditions; noise level is moderate to loud.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately in the English language.
  • The ability to use common sense and sound judgment when faced with unusual situations is necessary.
  • The ability to multi-task in this position is essential.
  • Employee must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully and positively with customers, vendors, AAAKC staff and management.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and clean the exterior of vehicles using specialized cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Vacuum and clean the interior of vehicles, including seats, carpets, and upholstery
  • Apply wax, polish, and other protective agents to vehicles to preserve their appearance
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues to management
  • Maintain and use cleaning supplies and equipment correctly and proper quantities as directed.
  • Perform tasks safety by following all safety procedures and guidelines, wearing and using the proper safety equipment
  • Ability to maintain a consistent standard of quality in detailing performance
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area
