The Auto Claims Supervisor oversees property damage auto claims adjusters, ensures accurate claim evaluations, and drives operational excellence in claim handling. This role combines leadership, technical expertise in property damage claims, and a strong customer service orientation. The supervisor will coach adjusters, review complex claims, establish best practices, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. This is a remote opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have prior expertise with Auto Damage Claims in Florida, Texas and Georgia markets. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in property damage or auto damage claims handling, including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team performance management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with industry claims systems, estimating software, and MS Office.
  • Adjusters license required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of property damage adjusters, providing feedback, performance reviews, and training.
  • Review complex and escalated auto property damage claims for accuracy, coverage, liability, and settlement strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with company claims guidelines, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Lead process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Approve or adjust final claim settlements within delegated authority.
  • Monitor team KPIs (cycle time, accuracy, settlement outcomes) and report performance to senior management.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, training sessions, and communication channels.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, legal, SIU (Special Investigations Unit), and other internal departments.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of property damage claim handling standards and industry updates.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for policyholders, agents, or third-party concerns.
