This role involves providing in-home and community behavioral services to patients with autism as directed in their treatment plan. The Autism Technician will participate as a treatment team member, providing feedback on patient progress and documenting observations and care. They are responsible for observing patients and reporting any adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the Program Supervisor and/or Qualified Supervising Provider. The position also requires participation in department and unit performance improvement activities, as well as maintaining current de-escalation training and utilizing de-escalation techniques daily.
