Requirements

• Exceptional Customer Service Skills: You should be able to provide outstanding support to clients and colleagues alike.
• Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is key in managing authorizations, so attention to detail is essential.
• Strong Keyboarding Skills: Proficiency in typing is important for efficient data entry and communication.
• Ability to Work Independently: You should be self-motivated and capable of managing your workload effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: previous experience using Excel is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with health insurance processes: familiarity with medical terminology is recommended

Responsibilities

• Engage with payer sources to discuss clinical documentation and secure necessary authorizations.
• Collaborate with clinicians to gather clinical documentation required for authorization.
• Maintain accurate records and tracking of all authorizations.
• Conduct daily reviews of relevant reports.
