Provide administrative authorization and intake specific functions to the Program Director or related to overall program operations. Manages intake process for consumers, schedules appointments and authorization for all services. Provides coordination with consumers, families, and other stakeholders. Review billing documentation and submit it to billing department and coordinate with insurance agencies. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of authorization, billing, or revenue cycle experience preferably ACT or community-based services.
  • Experience working with Louisiana Medicaid and MCOs, including authorization submissions, renewals, and ongoing eligibility verification.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, Louisiana Medicaid portals, and authorization platforms (e.g., Inovalon, Availity, NaviNet); strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ACT service definitions, annual Independent Assessments (IAs), treatment plan authorization requirements, and LDH/OBH expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail, deadline management, and ability to communicate effectively with ACT clinical teams, business office staff, and payers
