Requirements

  • One (1) year experience in health care, temporary staffing or related industry preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Requires excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven organization skills and detail orientation
  • Have a positive attitude and be motivated to help others.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately collect and enter customer information, including eligibility and benefit information for all payer sources into the management information system.
  • Clear written and verbal communication of clinical and payer information.
  • Complete intake screening process to include obtaining, documenting and analyzing payer information.
  • Actively promote Interim HealthCare services to prospective patients, clients and all other referral sources.
  • Acts as a contact telephone liaison person interfacing with referral sources, outside agencies, health professionals and payer sources.
  • Credentialing.
  • Attaining pre-authorizations for medical services and/or procedures.
  • Preform Medicaid and Medicare Chart Audits
  • Assist our Client Service Supervisor in ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards
  • Schedule staff and improve the process of client/patient scheduling for home care services
  • Verify documentation on employee’s schedules
  • Assist with office functions such as processing weekly payroll
  • Act as a customer services representative for the Personal Care and Support Services clients and employees.
