WE LOVE OUR WORK. Collects and reconciles all transactions handled by the Main Bank. Audits slot reports to provide accurate revenue information. Audits the various outlets, F&B, OTB, etc. Provides timely and accurate reports upon request. Abides by all company, MGCB and departmental policies and procedures. Completes special projects as assigned. Supervisory responsibility over Audit process and Audit activity. Responsibilities include assisting Assistant Controller with interviewing and hiring employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Associate’s Degree in business-related field or one to two years related experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to obtain license from the Maine Gambling Control Board.
• Generally relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines, but occasionally relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Oral and written communication; confidentiality; interpersonal skills; organization skills; problem analysis; and task oriented.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
