Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Associate’s Degree in business-related field or one to two years related experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to obtain license from the Maine Gambling Control Board.
  • Generally relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines, but occasionally relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Oral and written communication; confidentiality; interpersonal skills; organization skills; problem analysis; and task oriented.

  • Previous Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reconciles all transactions handled by the Main Bank.
  • Audits slot reports to provide accurate revenue information.
  • Audits the various outlets, F&B, OTB, etc.
  • Provides timely and accurate reports upon request.
  • Abides by all company, MGCB and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.
  • Supervisory responsibility over Audit process and Audit activity.
  • Responsibilities include assisting Assistant Controller with interviewing and hiring employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing concerns; and resolving problems.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
