About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Auditor , CPA, to join our client’s busy, well-established public accounting firm in Larkspur. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality audit, assurance, and tax services while working with a diverse client base. In this role, you will spend your days leading engagements, collaborating with a supportive team, and building long-term client relationships within a firm known for integrity, professionalism, and growth.

Requirements

• Active CPA license
• Minimum of two years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong experience with audit fieldwork and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
• Execute audit procedures in accordance with GAAP and GAAS
• Prepare and review audit work papers, financial statements, and disclosures
• Conduct accounting research on complex technical issues
• Prepare tax returns for for-profit and nonprofit attestation clients
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
