Requirements
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (such as Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics)
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in auditing, risk, compliance, and/or large infrastructure or transportation projects
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a professional environment
Responsibilities
- Assist with internal audit and compliance reviews related to project and business processes
- Help test controls, gather supporting documentation, and perform basic data analytics tasks
- Support preparation of audit workpapers, summaries, and draft observations
- Participate in meetings with project and functional teams to follow up on audit-related questions
- Assist in tracking action items, documenting process flows, and updating audit files and logs
- Help review policies, procedures, and project documentation for consistency with applicable standards and guidelines
