A Day in the Life: Build rapport with patients of all ages through consultations and examinations to provide the best treatment plan for their lifestyle. Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluations including Audiograms and Tympanograms. Program and fit hearing aids while assisting with any adjustments, questions, or problems. Dispense appropriate hearing care products to meet their needs and provide realistic expectations to ensure patient success. Provide continuous care with your patients which includes regular follow-up appointments.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate of Audiology degree (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • Active or eligible to obtain New York state licensure in Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a consistent patient caseload.
  • Maintain continuing education based on state regulations.
