About The Position

The Audiologist is responsible for providing diagnostic hearing evaluations, counseling patients on hearing loss, and recommending, fitting, and programming hearing aids and assistive listening devices. This role also provides patient education, follow-up care, and documentation in coordination with the ENT Physician to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Master’s Degree in Audiology required. Doctoral Degree in Audiology preferred.
• Current license with the Arkansas State Licensure as an Audiologist required
• BLS required upon hire or before patient care.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Positive energy, self-starter, and team player.
• Problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of audiologic testing equipment and hearing aid technology

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
• Experience with vestibular assessment and treatment a plus
• Bilingual skills preferred
