About The Position

A well-known ENT office in the Southwest Florida community, ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, is seeking a Clinical Audiologist to join their growing team. The practice is one of the largest private practice otolaryngology groups in the country, providing comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care. The ideal candidate will be a team-player with an aptitude for excellent patient care, partnering with ENT physicians. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, located in Sarasota. Established in 1963, the company has been a dependable resource for patients for over 62 years, with over 63 locations in Florida, and continues to grow. Patient care is a top concern, offering both diagnosis and rehabilitative services.

Requirements

• Doctor of Audiology or Masters degree
• Must be eligible for FL state licensure
• Varying levels of experience (open to recent graduates)
• Must be able to problem solve and work independently when necessary
• Strong communication and computer skills are required
• A keen ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Administer diagnostic tests and make recommendations for best rehabilitative services, fitting and dispensing of hearing aids and/or other ALD's/accessories to assure a successful patient journey
• Complete audiological and electrophysiological assessment (ABR, EcoG, OAE, VEMP)
• Dispensing of state of the art digital technologies and assistive listening devices
• Aural Rehabilitation Assessments, including Hearing Workshop Classes, and Community Education Programs
• Create the best journey for the patient through proper instruction and counseling
• Provide Tinnitus and Hyperacusis management and treatment
• Provide Implantable Services (Cochlear Implant, Baha, Ponto, Esteem Envoy)
• Provide Industrial Hearing Conservation Identification and Management
• Provide Vestibular Evaluation and Rehabilitation
• Provide Central Auditory Processing Disorders
• Participate in Clinical Trials
