Colonial Heights/Southside Physicians ENT is an fast- pace medical environment with a lot of recent growth. ENTs are eager and excited to work with their Audiologist. In our beautify suite, there are four audiologic based rooms designated to audiology ( i.e. hearing aid fitting, VNG, ABR, and hearing evaluation rooms). Therefore, we are very passionate about the benefits in having comprehensive audiologic services to strength our clinic.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Audiology
  • VA State licensure in Audiology (or in good standing to apply for VA licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or American Board of Audiology Certification (preferred)
  • Two years clinical experience or a combination of education and experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology is preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or American Board of Audiology Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conducting and interpreting diagnostic audiometric testing, ABR (new-born follow up), VNG, VEMP, vHIT
  • Conducting hearing aid evaluations, counseling, fitting and follow-up for hearing aids
  • Potential for surgical devices evaluation, counseling, fitting, programming, and follow-up
  • Communicate results and recommendations to the patient and referring physician.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation per protocol.
  • Implement best audiologic practices throughout workflow.
  • Obtaining continued education to learn and teach new technological advancements in the field of audiology
