About The Position

This position will oversee the setup, operation and takedown of sophisticated audio-visual equipment for business meetings, trade shows, receptions, conventions, weddings and more. Our operation is professional is professional and seamless - our customers expect nothing less.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years experience as an AV technician or similar role
Ability to think and work independently to meet necessary deadlines on a daily basis
Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve/troubleshoot obstacles in a timely manner
Ability to lift up to 25-30lb of lighting and sound fixtures
Experience with the setup and operation of hybrid meetings

Nice To Haves

CTS certification by AVIXA preferred, but not required.
Experience with Crestron, Tesira, Dante, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc. preferred

Responsibilities

Flexible hours and available for weekends - schedule changes each week based on what is booked
Effective and professional customer service
Proper set up, strike, and storage of equipment
Match customer needs with equipment that best suits their requests
Extensive understanding of equipment and how to troubleshoot equipment failures
Safety and security of all hotel AV equipment
Read, interpret, update, and execute event detail sheets
Operation of an elevated lift up to 20ft in the air
Fulfillment of equipment billing processes & procedures
Must remain on premises during ALL meetings for which equipment is provided
Effective telecommunication practices with internal team members and group contacts
