About The Position

A great opportunity for an AV professional who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and supporting modern collaboration technology in a busy enterprise environment. Overview This role supports audio‑visual hardware, software, and collaboration systems across an enterprise environment. You’ll provide both in‑person and remote technical support, assist with installations, maintain documentation, and ensure meeting spaces and AV systems run smoothly. Strong communication, follow‑through, and customer service are essential.

Requirements

  • Experience in an enterprise IT or AV environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of: Virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo) Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) Windows 10/11
  • Proven AV troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network components.
  • Experience with AV system commissioning (enterprise or integrator background ideal).
  • Proficiency with control systems such as Crestron or Q‑SYS, plus DSP configuration.
  • Understanding of AV signal flow, AV over IP, structured cabling, and rack‑build best practices.
  • Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.
  • High school diploma required; technical certifications or additional education a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • equivalent hands‑on experience
  • 1–3 years of related IT or AV support experience
  • Entry‑to‑intermediate level role with growth potential

Responsibilities

  • Set up, install, and support audio‑visual systems and video conferencing technology (MS Teams, Zoom, GoTo, Microsoft Teams Rooms equipment required).
  • Monitor and maintain collaboration systems using tools like MS Teams Admin Center and vendor monitoring portals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; determine repair, replacement, or remediation steps.
  • Recommend improvements for collaboration spaces, including new tools or best practices.
  • Train end users and technical staff on AV equipment and meeting technology.
  • Work with other IT teams on projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation, asset tracking, and configuration details.
  • Support events, including after‑hours needs.
  • Travel up to 50% to remote sites for support and event coordination.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
