About The Position

The position is responsible to install, troubleshoot and maintain the District’s Audio-Visual equipment. This position is part of the Technology Division and reports to the Audio/Visual Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some education or job experience in the AV or technology field
  • Strong understanding audio-visual devices as well as user support
  • Ability to self-manage and make independent decisions
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must exhibit a high degree of motivation, responsibility and confidentiality
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage time, projects and meet deadlines
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Work with staff with lesser technical skills to resolve questions and issues

Responsibilities

  • Support Audio-Visual devices in the school district
  • Projectors
  • Flat Panel TVs
  • Sound systems; permanent and mobile
  • Hardwired and Wireless Display connectivity
  • Apple TV
  • Miracast
  • Desktop/laptop computers
  • Document cameras
  • DVD Players
  • Support staff and guests during meetings and conferences
  • Collaborate with other network technicians to support network level services
  • Work with outside vendors, consultants and support conduits
  • Perform other duties as assigned
