About The Position

The Department for Public Health (DPH), Division of Administration and Financial Management (AFM), is seeking an Audio-Visual Production Specialist for our Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Branch. This position will shoot videos in the EWD studio and on location for education, training and social media. They will assist DPH in the creation of educational materials, interactive learning modules, photos and videos. They will assist education with hybrid and virtual options, operating Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings, assisting technology in training and meeting spaces around DPH. Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
  • One year of experience in audio and video production.
  • Additional experience in audio and video production will substitute for the required bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Suites (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, Audition)
  • Experience with interactive learning module software Articulate and Lectora
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology
  • Experience with studio videography and photography

Responsibilities

  • Operate audio and video equipment
  • Facilitate video shoots in a studio setting
  • Edit video using Adobe Suites (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, etc.)
  • Operate still camera DSLR for headshots and other
  • Edit Photos in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Create Educational materials (infographics, public service announcements, interactive learning modules, etc.) as needed
  • Have a knowledge of Lectora and Articulate software for instructional design
