From cybersecurity to operational intelligence, cloud services, software development, and beyond, we are here to help. We are seeking a full-time Audio Visual Specialist to join our team. Role Summary Provides operational and technical support for integrated audiovisual (AV) and information technology systems, ensuring audiovisual environments remain configured, functional, and supportable for briefings, training, and live events. Performs setup, operation, fault isolation, and first-line maintenance across AV control, audio, video, and conferencing components.

Requirements

  • Technically qualified personnel who can understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft 365 applications to produce required documentation (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and Access).
  • Basic knowledge/understanding of AV/IT equipment settings and normal operational configurations.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Associate’s degree in a related field; OR three (3) years of technically related field experience providing audio visual support.
  • Must possess a current InfoComm International certification in audiovisual technology.
  • Must complete basic Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron training within 120 days of hire/contract start, as applicable.
  • Required certifications must be maintained in current status throughout performance.
  • Active Secret security clearance preferred.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • In accordance with federal government security clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and climb/work at heights up to 20 feet.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting AV systems in DoD or other regulated environments.
  • Vendor-specific advanced training/certs (Crestron, AMX, Biamp, Extron).
  • DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) when required for privileged access.
  • AVIXA CTS-I or similar installation-focused certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems supporting meetings, training, and events (audio, video, display, control, conferencing).
  • Perform fault isolation for signal flow, device settings, and system interoperability issues.
  • Support and maintain AV control ecosystems (Crestron, AMX) and audio processing/distribution components (Biamp) and AV infrastructure (Extron).
  • Execute preventative checks, basic maintenance, and readiness validation prior to scheduled events.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting during live sessions; coordinate remediation to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain technical documentation and communicate support outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
