Position Summary The Audio Visual Manager position reports directly to the General Manager and will partner heavily with internal/external partners and department heads for the audio/visual and technical needs for the arena and attached spaces. This position will be responsible for A/V schedule coordination and planning in conjunction with the venue’s event and maintenance schedules. This position will manage Audio/Visual staff, including part-time, freelancers, and third-party. The position will supervise (and participate, as needed) A/V set ups, strikes and event-by-event change-outs, to ensure events are show ready. This position will be expected to work and supervise staff to the highest safety standards, while delivering an exceptional guest experience for a diverse group of guests/clients in the you th , amateur/collegiate, professional, and special events spaces. This role pays an annual salary of $60,000 to $75,000. About the Venue Oak View Group has an exciting opening for an Audio Visual Manager on the campus of UMass Lowell (UML) for the Tsongas Center, a 7,000 seat multi-purpose arena. The Tsongas Center is one of the premier arenas in the New England region and is home to UML Division I Men’s Ice Hockey, Men’s and Women’s basketball programs, the Boston Fleet, as well as a variety of events including concerts, family shows, comedy, and other live events. The Tsongas Center serves as a public venue to the community and has been a staple of the region for the past 25 years.
