Start your Voyage – Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV systems support, live event production, and conference room technology management. This role requires hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and AV hardware including Cisco, Crestron, and Poly systems. Please Note: This role is designated as office essential and will be in office 5 days per week in our New York office.

Requirements

  • Degree in A/V Production or related field.
  • Proven experience in AV engineering roles across corporate and event environments.
  • Proficiency with AV platforms and systems: Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Crestron, Cisco, Poly.
  • Experience with live event production and streaming technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supervisory roles and managing AV installations.
  • Familiarity with broadcast environments and support for live media events.
  • Industry Certifications are considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time AV support for executive-level meetings and live events.
  • Manage and maintain AV systems across multiple conference rooms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment and software.
  • Operate production equipment including robotic cameras and digital mixers.
  • Design and implement AV setups for live streaming and hybrid events.
  • Collaborate with team and stakeholders to ensure high-quality communication experiences.
  • Manage inventory for event execution.
  • Execute AV room decommissioning and rebuilds within budget and timelines.
