About The Position

E-Logic is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual (AV) Project Manager to support a major entertainment and sports facility modernization project at Belmont Park for New York Racing Association, Inc (NYRA). The Project Manager will oversee planning, installation, testing, commissioning, and transition of complex broadcast and AV systems for the facility's reopening. The role requires strong coordination across vendors, engineering teams, broadcast personnel, and stakeholders to ensure all AV systems are fully operational before opening day. Key Responsibilities Lead planning, execution, and delivery of AV systems across the facility. Coordinate with NYRA teams, third-party vendors, IT, broadcast, and facilities staff. Manage schedules, risks, issues, and deliverables. Organize training programs and transition documentation for client staff. Provide regular status updates and technical guidance. Oversee installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of: Validate fiber connectivity and power availability Support installation of studio, handheld, drone, and specialty cameras Test tally systems, returns, and camera functionality Verify power, lighting, monitors, communications, and equipment setup Test full system functionality Coordinate antenna placement and wireless transmission systems Validate readiness for live operation Ensure broadcast signals are properly routed and operational Troubleshoot transmission issues Coordinate installation of graphics, audio consoles, video boards, and systems Support development of in-house production capabilities Ensure systems can ingest racing data and broadcast feeds Ensure connectivity between broadcast compound, control room, and building systems Support IPTV distribution and public address system functionality Coordinate TV compound layout and related infrastructure Assist with blueprint review and system design validation Be on-site during critical pre-opening period (6-8 weeks prior) Provide ongoing support after opening for system optimization Manage operational issues as additional facility areas come online

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Media Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing AV, broadcast, or large-scale technical projects.
  • Experience with large entertainment, sports, or broadcast facilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AV infrastructure, signal flow, and broadcast systems.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and system designs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stadium or racetrack AV systems.
  • Background in live broadcast or media production environments.
  • Familiarity with fiber networks, IPTV, and large-scale audio systems.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
