The Installation Manager’s primary responsibilities are customer satisfaction and exceeding the Area’s business plan. Their primary duties are to support the sales process and deliver installations. The IM provides leadership, plans and manages resources, and develops the Installation Technicians. The decisions made at this level will be conducted within the business plan, budget, policies, and procedures, all while promoting the core values of the company.

Requirements

  • The Installation Manager must possess leadership, managerial, customer, employee relations and installation technical skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, plans and specifications, proposals, contracts, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to effectively use standardized company software programs

Nice To Haves

  • CTS-I Certification, AQAV-CQT & PMP is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Review projects with sales, project teams, and customer to ensure the department can deliver the project’s objective, schedule, and budget.
  • Support our Installation Teams in the field on large deployments
  • Assign technicians to meet department quality, service, and project budgets.
  • Ensure Project Management and Installation alignment and adjust as needed. Ensure the installation schedule is planned for efficient execution, and the proper resources are reserved on the resource console.
  • Ensure that installation kick off meeting are taking place and being documented
  • Provide training for technicians in accordance with development plans defined in performance goals, to develop and maintain the skills required to provide the highest level of support for products that the company promotes.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, and training employees. planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
