As an AV Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting our sales and operations teams by developing accurate, competitive, and timely project estimates. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality AV solutions to our clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AV estimating, low-voltage systems, or a related field
• Strong understanding of audiovisual systems (displays, conferencing, control systems, sound systems, and structured cabling)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical bid documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite (estimating software experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work across teams

Nice To Haves

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience with AV manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or similar
• Familiarity with commercial construction and bid processes

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to develop detailed cost estimates
• Prepare proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure solutions align with client needs and budgets
• Evaluate project scope and identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
• Obtain vendor quotes and maintain current knowledge of AV products and technologies
• Assist with bid preparation, submission, and follow-up
• Support project handoff to operations with clear and complete documentation
• Participate in occasional site visits to better understand project conditions
