The Audio Visual Account Executive will serve as the primary liaison among the seller, customer, operations staff, and internal divisions (ES/ESS) for all client and internal communication, deliverables, and the transition of assigned AV events. Key contributions include engaging in client discovery calls, developing solutions, and refining proposals with sellers to identify objectives and client solutions. The role involves managing client deliverables during project discovery and planning phases, orchestrating show planning to ensure all event details are communicated to operations before move-in, and coordinating pre-event meetings with operations, production, and the client. The Account Executive is responsible for providing timely and innovative AV solutions that align with client objectives and company capabilities, and for developing comprehensive event plans, technical drawings, and deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers and Production teams. They must ensure team deadlines are met, collaborate on CAD drawings, technical documentation, and facility access requirements, and maintain communication between Sales, Operations, Production, and facility partners. The position also requires ensuring structural projects and specialized elements are finalized through Shepard AV’s online portal (OLP), coordinating labor scheduling with Operations and the Labor Coordinator, and participating in equipment review calls with Production Management to confirm accurate equipment selection based on client objectives, sales intent, and budget. Timely communication and championing a sense of urgency with all stakeholders are essential.
