Requirements

  • Active Colorado Bar license
  • 2–10 years of civil litigation or creditors' rights experience
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal tech systems (Cogent preferred)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for court appearances and client conferences
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Handle creditors' rights litigation and related matters alongside experienced attorneys
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
  • Appear in court and assist with trial preparation in both state and federal courts
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law
  • Review case files and assist in developing case strategy
  • Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with legal staff to meet deadlines and court requirements
  • Lead and support a small legal department
