About The Position

The Attendant is a person specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of care to the IHSS client in their residence under the direction, instruction and supervision of qualified Agency personnel/Agency’s Licensed Health Care Professional. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and/or the IHSS Clinical Program Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures Understands and promotes client rights Performs client services in accordance with the plan of care and Agency policy Completes appropriate service notes completely, accurately and in a timely manner as per Agency policy Reports changes in the client’s condition and needs to the supervisor Participates in all required orientation, training, competency and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per Agency policy Is available for and participates in the supervisory visits per Agency direction Participates in coordination of client care, as required

Requirements

18 years of age or older

Responsibilities
