About The Position

To assist the Site Principal in maintaining the appropriate paperwork as it pertains to student attendance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance card is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex and sensitive information, as well as ability to manage and prioritize complex tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal professionally with sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and conflict management/resolution skills.
  • Ability to articulate, represent professional demeanor and ability to take initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s Degree, or equivalent is preferred
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Experience developing, implementing and leading training for a variety of staff and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining attendance and other mandated data for all student populations.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
  • Maintain control records on the incoming correspondence and documents, and follow up on work in process to ensure timely reply or action.
  • Assemble data information for Site Principal as needed.
  • Responsible for attending various mandated meetings as assigned.
  • Works cooperatively with the Administrators to ensure the guidelines of the federal and state mandates are met.
  • Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Site Principal may assign.
  • Following up on student absences related to COVID and documenting appropriately.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
