About The Position

Join us as an Atlassian & PowerBI Administrator on our Product & Technology (P&T) Operations team. This role will encompass both Atlassian & PowerBI administrator responsibilities, as well as Atlassian & PowerBI developer tasks. This will be a hybrid position, with one day required in the office during most weeks. As an Atlassian & PowerBI administrator, you’ll keep our Product and Technology teams running smoothly. You’ll maintain the products and troubleshoot issues. We’ll also rely on you to work on projects, either for migrations or to build new solutions and workflows. This job involves intensive collaboration with the P&T Operations team and the software development teams that we support.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience administering and configuring Atlassian Cloud products (Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Bitbucket) in a technology or SaaS environment
  • Strong JQL knowledge with hands-on experience customizing workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, and notification schemes
  • Proficiency in Groovy and/or JavaScript and SQL, with the ability to write scripts to automate and customize Jira
  • 2+ years of experience with PowerBI or comparable visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), with a passion for data analysis and delivering actionable insights
  • 2+ years of data warehouse experience (e.g., Snowflake) and a solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable advising at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years in a data analysis function
  • A strong sense of curiosity and desire to ask questions and problem-solve

Nice To Haves

  • Experience directly integrating Atlassian & PowerBI products with other systems is preferable.
  • Experience with IBM TargetProcess is desirable, but not required
  • Experience with GitHub is desirable, but not required
  • Familiarity with eazyBI for Jira Cloud is desirable, but not required
  • Familiarity with AI is desirable, but not required
  • Plugin Development: Creating custom plugins and extensions to enhance Jira's functionalities.

Responsibilities

  • Own configuration, administration, and support of Atlassian products (Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, Bitbucket, StatusPage, Guard) and PowerBI, serving as one of a few Subject Matter Expert for the P&T organization
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, project configurations, workflows, custom fields, and system maintenance, including upgrades and patches
  • Design and implement customizations — dashboards, filters, reports, and automation rules — to meet the needs of cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain API integrations, custom plugins, and bespoke functionality using ScriptRunner, Groovy, and/or JavaScript
  • Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports; aggregate disparate data to generate operational insights and support KPI metric reporting
  • Partner with teams to understand data-driven objectives, define best practices for data capture and organization, and foster a data-driven decision-making culture
  • Gather requirements, propose solutions, and develop roadmap presentations; provide technical support and maintain documentation of configurations and processes
