About The Position

Sentara Medical Group Sports Medicine First Colonial is now hiring a Full-Time, Office -Based Athletic Trainer in Virginia Beach, VA! Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS! Overview The Athletic Trainer will e valuate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Athletic Training or Physical Therapy
• Licensed Athletic Trainer or Athletic Trainer Certified or eligible for LAT or ATC exam
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
• Valid license in state of practice
• 40 hours Clinical experience preferred

• Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance.
